INTERNATIONAL STAR FIGHTER EASTER BASKET TOY

Awhile ago at my local Toys R Us, I found an Easter basket set that came with three groups of robot toys that all seem to be based off of Gundam robots. What interests me is the one with the International Star Fighter card because the word "Star" is from the familiar Star Wars logo.

Other things said on the card, if that's of any interest to you, are "SUPER MACHINE" and "OVERSPEED SUPERIOR".

The other two toys don't appear to have any Star Wars relation. Here's one of them, "COMBAT FORMIDABLE", a black robot with a shield and gun.

The phrases on the card are "EVER TRIUMPHANT POWER HERO BRIGHT TO SHOW UP" and "THE POWER IS MATCHLESS".

The "VALAOR SUPER FORCE" red robot's card is a bit more interesting. It features three pictures of Gundam robots.

The card says "Brave Warrior". On this card and also the International Star Fighter one it says "SPECIFICATIONS COLOURS AND CONTENTS MAY VARY FROM ILLUSTRATION". And they sure do!

The back of the three cards are blank. Here's the back of the International Star Fighter card. Isn't it exciting...?

These toys originally came packed in a basket weaved from thin, flimsy, wood-like material and then wrapped in cellophane. Some candy came with it, too, but I ate that a long time ago.
