There were at least five suction cup figures in the line. I'm assuming each character had multiple color variants, but maybe I "assume too much" (as Nute Gunray told Amidala and Amidala later told Qui-Gon). I've seen photos of an Obi-Wan Kenobi, Vader, Luke, R5-D4, and of course there's Chewbacca, too.
Here's swamp Chewie hanging with Kenner's Wookiee. The suction cup figures appear to be based off of the vintage Kenner figures. Swamp Chewie is 2.25 inches (about 6 centimeters) tall.
Though I can't get a good photo of it, on the back of the suction cup it says M. K. with a T (or maybe an arrow pointing up) in a circle between the two and lowered a little. Under all of that it says HONG KONG. Below is my "artist's rendition" of the text on the back of the suction cup.
Isn't it truly a work of art...?
I've seen a photo of similar suction cup figures that were bootlegs of monster and alien McDonald's toys. In the photo I saw, there was a cheap cardboard treasure chest with the toys. I'm not sure if the box is actually related to the fake McDonald's figures or not, but it says "144 STAR WAR FIGURES" on the side. Perhaps the Star Wars suction cup figures (including my Chewbacca) originally came in a box similar to that one...
